I read many reviews first espresso machine, so I was ready for the construction of "functions", which I find difficult. (If using a short pot / cup of espresso machines and position on the edge of the bench, so that the steam pipe is blocked off, is not a problem), I was so ready to love this machine, but I had some problems that were not evaluated.:

1) Express is a small taste funny, despite its dark and milk is even weaker, although I have significantly reduced the percentage of milk. I like the strong, almost "burning" flavored espresso / Lattes Lattes, and from this machine tastes like Starbucks water. I tried various grinds and roasts, but nothing really helped. I also tried to double (or triple), but could not stand the taste of espresso and milk.

Two) How to propose a 'warm up the car for 30 minutes before my first cup! So if you're like me and have limited time in the morning to get their black gold, a plan in which the alarm 30 minutes earlier. The instructions also said that in order to accelerate the heating process, you can run the computer several times, without the coffee .... I do not know if this difference or not. I tried everything and still waiting for a strong espresso flavor, but it never happened: (

I received this product within 7 days of ordering it from the site. It came with everything that it stated on the box. I had read all the reviews before I bought this item and so far it's going strong. It's been exactly 31 days and I haven't encountered any of the dripping from the frother or from the area where the espresso comes out.
Yes, the tamper is a bit awkward, but doable. I just make sure I have clearance on the right side of the machine and I tamper it 3-4 times with a twist on the 4th time. I use 2 shot glasses to catch the espresso. You would want to utilize these if you don't buy the glasses. The height clearance for a regular mug or espresso cup is definitely true, that it doesn't work. This has worked for me since I didn't want to buy the recommended glasses. If you want to have the frothing pitcher and the glasses to complete the set, I would say go for it!
The frother works fine as long as you know how to work it and always clean it right after making your espresso. You will need to get a frothing pitcher that fits under since the clearance from the counter and the frother is quite short.
You want to make sure to clean the machine right after you make your espresso. Clean the frother and wipe it down with a wet towel immediately after frothing the milk. Clean the area where the espresso comes out.
It's a great machine for the price and it has an easy rebate form process.

i like everything about the machine except............. taking out the used coffee grinds i know no one in any of the reviews made any comments about this but the little plastic holder for the filter is very awkward for me to take out the coffee. maybe not a big deal to you but i wish it was a little more user friendly. i only make espresso in it i don't steam milk i just microwave my milk so i don't have any comments about that. the coffee always comes out well. only had the machine for a few months so i will update if it doesn't last for now its just what i wanted and at the best possible price i saw anywhere and believe me i looked everywhere.

There is not a day I regret this purchase... neither does my family! It's just wonderful to appreciate real coffees for this price. The only thing I'm a bit afraid is the steam outline that seems a bit fragile and it's also kind of short to use with any recipient. But i's defintely worth the investment!

Decent Espresso for a good price

The EC155 makes either one or two shots of decent tasting espresso. The taste is a bit thinner than from a coffee shop barista but definitely richer than most pod or capsule type makers. Lots of crema, maybe too much depending on grind and packing. As with most makers that use ground espresso the grind and packing are important (although this maker seems less sensitive than some I have had). I've had the best luck with a grind that feels like table sugar, not powder. A good metal tamper is best for packing; don't over-fill, rock slightly on the four compass points, then a half-turn with firm pressure seemed to work well. The plastic tamper on the device really doesn't help, mostly because the unit is light weight and a bit hard to hold. In fact, this is the biggest negative I have found, it can be hard to hold the unit to put on the filter holder. But if you underfill the filters it helps. I've only used the unit for a month or so but I haven't noticed any reduction in flow through the filters due to clogging; but I only used a fine grind one time then backed off to a slightly more coarse grind.

I have owned this espresso maker for a few months now and have not been disappointed once! I come from Italian traditions and could not live any longer in the US making coffee with a Bialetti Moka Espresso Maker... This DeLonghi espresso maker is ideal if...
... you don't prepare more than a handful of espressos at a time,
... you want to keep you budget low (I bought it discounted to 70$, but I see that the price fluctuates...In any case: great price/quality ratio),
... you don't mind to "get around the bottom" to make fit larger cups (i.e. take the metal bottom away to gain extra space) ,
... you don't mind holding the machine while inserting the "coffee holder" (the coffee maker is light so if you don't hold it it is going to move),
... you like a nice foam on top of your coffee,
... you don't have a lot of space for a coffee maker,
... what else? The list could probably be longer, but I hope this is enough. Definitely highly recommended!

Great unit for the price

Bought this for my husband, who loves it. Compact (important in a galley kitchen!), very easy to use and clean, and he says it makes better espresso than he's had at restaurants. Can't speak to steam function as he doesn't use it but overall a wonderful buy for the money. Agree with those who recommend a tamper - the Terry Tamper matched with this unit works fine and the Bodum Pavia cups also suggested by Amazon are great!! Cups stay totally unheated while retaining temperature of the espresso.

From this flawed batch of candy came the exclamation of or the phrase 'oh, fudge!' The initial documentation of fudge was in a letter from Poughkeepsie, New York. Emelyn Battersby Hartidge, a Vassar College student, wrote that a schoolmate's cousin made fudge. In Baltimore in 1886, the candy sold for 40 cents a pound. Two years later Ms. Hartidge obtained the recipe and made 30 pounds for a Senior Auction. Other colleges (Wellesley and Smith) then created their own recipes for this sweet treat.

Audi AG, the German luxury automaker, as it inks a decade TT sports car production, hit another milestone in the auto industry by unveiling the performance-focused version dubbed the TTS. The TTS made its official debut last Sunday at the North American International Auto Show.

The TTS, which is available in both four-seat coupe and two-seat roadster convertible, is equipped with a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that generates 272 hp and a governor-limited top speed of about 155 mph, divulged MLive. The engine produces nearly as much power as a 3.2-liter, six-cylinder engine, but with better fuel efficiency, it added.

To keep weight well distributed and under control - at a curb weight of just 3075 pounds - steel construction is used by the automaker’s engineers at the back end of the TTS. Additionally, aluminum is used in the front and center sections as well as the front suspension.

The use of lightweight aluminum and steel hybrid body shell kept the supercar grounded by a tailored chassis featuring four-wheel drive. Also, the TTS took advantage of the enlarged brakes and upgraded power steering to manage extra power. It will be recognizable by 'S' insignia, as well as new bi-xenon headlamps, larger front air intakes and deeper side-skirts and arches to house 18-inch alloy-wheels, Reuters noted.

The new engine features an intercooled turbocharger, direct gasoline injection and reworked air-intake system to become one of the most powerful four-cylinder engines around the globe. The engine generates as much power as the automaker’s 3.2-liter V6. However, the power is delivered with slashed fuel consumption. Specific fuel-use figures and pricing will be available closer to when the car goes on sale in the United States in November.

In the cockpit-like interior, there is a gray-finished instrument panel and different-design multi-function steering wheel, along with leather- and Alcantara-trimmed sport seats, according to the Detroit Free Press. Silk Nappa leather upholstery is available in four different colors, as is an Impulse leather package with silver stitching and black trim or Chennai brown trim and espresso contrast stitching, described the Car Connection.

With the S tronic, the TTS Coupe will be able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph in only 5.2 seconds and on to an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph, reports say. Accelerating from 80 to 120 mph in fourth gear will only take 4.4 seconds. That makes the car one of the most amazing.
